Gayen, it’s the story of a boy called Saptak Basu. “This has nothing to do with the story of Upendra Kishore Roychowdhury and has no similarity with Satyajit Ray or Sandip Ray’s fantasy musical. It’s an original story of Saptak aka Goopy, who sings. So, ‘Gayen’ is about the one who sings. The film is directed by Rajdeep Ghosh, who worked as an associate director with Kaushik Ganguly. Both the film and my part are very interesting,” said Rwitobroto, who has already begun shooting. He will continue shooting till February 3. Rwitobroto has been part of quite a few talked-about ventures in recent times.
