Till now, I haven’t shot with Jeetda but it is wonderful to work for his production house,” said the actress, adding, “It is difficult to shoot in this heat, but now things are much easy for us as we can relax in the makeup vans. But once you are on the sets, it really does not matter as you are in that work zone.”
Talking about her diet in summer, the actress said, “I am drinking loads of water, coconut water, juices and lassi to keep me hydrated. I am eating small portion of rice and some light vegetables or chicken. I generally avoid oily and fried food. I am not going to the gym as the heat is unbearable.”
Rupanjana is also part of Debarati Gupta’s film, Anek Diner Pore, for a Bengali channel, where she is seen along with Swastika Mukherjee, Sudiptaa Chakraborty Palomi Ghosh, among others. “I play Simi, an aspiring model, who had done some B grade films in the past before bagging a cookery show. The real story begins when she meets three of her old friends,” revealed the actress. She added, “Talks are on with Debapratim Dasgupta for an Indo-American film, Protibimbo, which revolves around two sisters. I play the elder one.”
Rupanjana, who has taken a break from serials due to her son Rian’s school and studies, was last seen in in one of the episodes of Thakurmar Jhuli. “Working in mega serials requires a lot of your time. So, I have taken a break for two-three months, as I have to help my son with studies and his new school timings. But working for Thakurmar Jhuli was fun as it didn’t require much of my dates or time,” said Rupanjana, who plans to go to the hills during her son’s summer holidays.
