Rukmini Maitra wants to start a #SheToo movement

While the social media is abuzz with stunning revelations of sexual harassment of women, especially the shocking allegations coming from Bollywood, our very own Bengali industry has seen Srijit Mukherji dragged into the matter as well. Now, Tollywood superstar Dev’s rumoured girlfriend Rukmini Maitra has raised her voice and she wants to start a unique #SheToo movement just like the #MeToo campaign.
The beautiful actress took to her Twitter handle and wrote: “I think I'm gonna start a #SheToo campaign about women who made inappropriate/uninhibited proposals already knowing that they were not so single men What do you think?”

Director Aniket Chattopadhyay was quick to give a fitting reply pulling Rukmini’s legs. He replied: “Yesssss...charity should begin at home…”
It’s no doubt an interesting proposal from Rukmini, especially when there is every possibility of women misusing the #MeToo movement.
On the working front, Rukmini Maitra was last seen in Aniket Chattopadhyay directed ‘Kabir’ opposite Dev. She is also the co-producer of Dev’s ‘Hoichoi Unlimited’ which is releasing today.
