Rudranil Ghosh has his hands full. The actor has just completed shooting for
Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming thriller, Vinci Da, and is also part of Indraadip Das Gupta’s Apu. In December, he will be off to Thailand to shoot for Ankit Aditya’s Thai Curry along with Tnusree Chakraborty, Saswata Chatterjee and Soham.
In between his chock-a-block schedule, Rudranil is also spending time to plan the interiors of his new flat, which made us curious if he’s planning to get married.
And the actor didn’t deny it. “I plan to shift to my new house in January and yes, marriage is on my mind. I plan to get married next year, as I do feel lonely at times when I return home after a long day. I feel the need to have someone to share my feelings with,” he said.
On the work front, the actor said, “In Vinci Da, I play a makeup artist and the audience will get to see a new Rudranil.” Thai Curry, on the other hand, is a thriller comedy, which will see him play the owner of a shack in Thailand.
What’s more, next year Rudranil will be working in PB Chaki’s Hijack, which is an out-and-out comedy film that also has
Kanchan Mullick and Paran Bandopadhyay. It is about how a few nonsensical guys manage to hijack a flight and the chaos that ensues. Then there is Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha’s film that deals with a serious subject. “I play a successful man who later realises he has missed out on many fine things in life,” he said. Konineeca Banerjee, Tnusree Chakraborty, Ritwick Chakraborty and Indrajit Chakraborty are also part of this film.
