The actor lost his mother on October 3
October will remain one of the saddest months for Rudranil Ghosh. While the Durga Puja celebrations had just about begun, the actor got the devastating news of his mother's demise. Rudranil lost his mother on Saptami night after she had a massive heart attack. In fact, so sudden was the attack that the actor didn't even get any time to take his mother to any nursing home.
Says Rudranil, ""On October 2, I came to my Howrah residence and also had a meal prepared by my mother. On October 3, she complained of a chest pain and breathlessness. That was at night. Before she could be taken to any doctor or to a nursing home, she breathed her last.""
