Ritwik Ghatak, passed away early morning on Monday. She was 60. Her husband said, “On Sunday night Samhita complained of
uneasiness
and went off to sleep by 9.30-10 pm. Monday morning, after I woke up, I went to her room but there was no response. Seeing her unresponsive, the doctor asked me to rush her to the hospital where I was told, she passed away early morning following a mild heart attack,” said Samhita’s husband, a distraught Subrata Sarkar.
Samhita who was associated with all works of Ritwik Ghatak, was also working on a lot of new projects. We offer her family our heartfelt condolences.
