Ritwick's Lyad is ready to release

Ritwick Chakraborty's short film is all set to release this week. The team, along with director Pradipta Bhattacharyya, musician Anirban Ajoy Das, singer Bobyendu mukherjee and others, will also host a special screening of this 14-minute film.
The film, which uses a lot of animation, revolves around a frustrated corporate man (Ritwick Chakraborty), who is always buried in work even on Sunday mornings.

He is rattled by frantic calls from his office, continuous nags from his wife to do the weekend tasks, chaotic loudspeaker announcements from the lane besides, agitated pressure-cooker whistles as if it going to burst anytime – and amid all this catastrophe his phone hangs! This is when the iconic Bhooter Raja appears in his malfunctioning mobile through an app and gives him a boon that allows him to sleep an entire day. This corporate slave is now happy by earning his share of ‘lyad’ for 24 hours. This is where the song starts and captures the moments of his laziness.
