Author turned director Ram Kamal's ‘Season's Greetings: A Tribute to
Rituparno Ghosh’, which had its World premiere at Cardiff International Festival, is now off to South Africa. The film is an official selection at the Malabo International Music And Film Festival 2019. Earlier it was also screened at the prestigious Queen Palm International Film Festival, California, in the Best Foreign Film category.
The film stars
Celina Jaitly, Lillette Dubey and Azhar Khan in the lead. While Lillette will play the mother’s role, Celina will be seen as the daughter. Produced under the banner of Assorted Motion Pictures and SS 1 Entertainment, the story of this film has been penned by Ranjib Mazumdar, while screenplay and dialogues are by Chandrodoy Pal.
‘Season’s Greetings’ made headlines earlier this year as it became the first Bollywood film to rope in an Intimacy Supervisor. Incidentally the film has an intimate scene which needs to be picturized on the male lead Azhar Khan and Celina Jaitly who play a couple in the film.
