Rituparna's baby shower

This is a tale of bonding from college days. Actor Rituparna Sengupta, who is now in Singapore, has a surprise baby shower thrown for her by her college friend.
"Her name is Paramita. We used to go to Lady Brabourne College together. Paramita now lives in Singapore. She organized a huge party as a baby shower for me. I gorged on the mouth-watering delicacies that she prepared especially for me.At the party, there was a crowd of 25 ladies. They had all organized lots of new games for me. I absolutely adored the cute gifts that they gave me. I loved the girlie company," Rituparna says.
When she was in Kolkata, actor Indrani Dutta had organized another baby shower for her. "Indrani organized a big bash at her residence. She gifted me a wonderful sari. I was touched by her gesture. Her husband and daughter are great hosts too. A lot of my friends brought home my favourite dishes. I love dahi vadas and my school friend, Alka, got that for me. My college friend, Rajasri, gave me a treat of ���������fishy��������� delicacies. There were other friends like Baishakhi who too wanted to treat me. But the work pressure was so maddening that I couldn���������t make it to her place. But, I must say that I am happy to be pampered this way by my friends now," the actor signs off.
