Rituparna to endorse Durga Puja

For the first time in her career, Rituparna Sengupta has agreed to endorse a Puja. Currently shooting in Kathmandu to shoot ���������Punorutthan��������� with Priyanshu Chatterjee, the actor will be flying down to Mumbai where she will be endorsing the Andheri Link Road Sarbojonin Durgotsav.
Says the actor, ���������Pujas have changed over the years. Of course, the festival is still a lot about community feelings.There is an emotional value. But Pujas have become corporate activities. During our childhood, children would come over to our place to collect subscriptions for Pujas. Not anymore. Everything is sponsored. When Krishnendu Sen asked me to be the face of this Puja, I readily agreed.��������� For those not in the loop, reputed stars charge anywhere between `30 lakh-`40 lakh for a Puja endorsement.
As for her experience of shooting in Kathmandu, Rituparna says, ���������I had last come to shoot ���������Sindur Khela��������� in Kathmandu and Pokhara along with Prosenjit Chatterjee and Chiranjeet. It���������s been over seven years since I came down to shoot in Nepal. I must
confess that it feels good to return to Nepal.���������
