After professionally parting ways in 2001 after Jamaibabu Zindabad’, Bengali film industry’s evergreen jodi Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta are all set to star in Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Drishtikone’. Rituparna recently spoke about why she agreed to do the film.
According to the reports, the actress said that the responsibility has got even bigger now. Earlier she used to do a lot of films simultaneously, so if one flopped there was every possibility to make the other one a box-office hit.

But things have changed these days. Not just the script, but the director also has to be of that calibre to cast a pair like Prosenjit and Rituparna.
Rituparna also reportedly claimed as soon as she read the script of ‘Drishtikone’ she decided this is the script she was looking for and that working with Kaushik Ganguly has been a delightful experience for her.
Prosenjit and Rituparna’s onscreen chemistry once again amazed the audience in their comeback film ‘Praktan’ after 15 long years in 2016, as it became a massive hit from the very first day it was released. Drishtikon will be the hit jodi’s second flick after ‘Praktan’ and interestingly the first one with a director like Kaushik Ganguly’s calibre.
