. In the film, the actress plays Aparna Sen’s daughter and in a candid chat with us, she shared her memories from

Paromitar Ek Din

and talked about why Aparna Sen holds a special place in her heart. "This is my third film alongside Aparna Sen and I feel it will be a treat to my audience after Paromitar Ek Din. My debut film Shet Patharer Thala had Aparna Sen in a pivotal role and it was quite an experience too,’’ she shared.

“Paromitar Ek Din was a beautiful saga exploring the relationship between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law. The had various moments of joy, passion and glory. The story also had a sense of loss, betrayal, love, affection, sorrow — there was just so much to portray in that film. That was a huge learning experience for me and I was not even married back then so I had little idea about how a married woman should react in a particular situation and how a mother deals with an autistic child. It was a learning experience. Rinadi helped me get in the skin of the character. There was so much to learn from that film and Basu Poribar is another such experience for me. Suman Ghosh had been discussing the film with me for a long time and when he told me that Aparna Sen and I will be playing a mother-daughter duo, I was elated. My character shares a beautiful chemistry with her mother in the film. The film talks about relationships in a way that is endearing and insightful. Every character has an important part to play in the film. We are all looking forward to the film," she shared.

Rituparna is glad that Ahaa Re has completed 25 days at the BO. "Mukherjee Dar Bou is also doing well and this whole year started off with a bang and I am waiting to see how from here,” said the actress.
