Rituparna, Saswata start shooting for ‘Chhuti’

After ‘Reunion’, Murari M Rakshit has started shooting for his next film ‘Chhuti’. The social drama has an ensemble cast including Rituparna Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Pradip Mukherjee and others.
Since most of the parents are working these days, it’s becoming harder and harder to give a child proper time. Managing a vacation has also become a problem for the parents. The story of ‘Chhuti’ revolves around this issue.
Like ‘Reunion’, the music of ‘Chhuti’ will also be composed by Joy Sarkar. There will be a Rabindra Sangeet in the film apart from three other songs.
While speaking about the film, Rituparna Sengupta said: “Many people say that I spend more time in Singapore now. But see even there also, I was thinking about Bengali films. I met the director there and I liked his story very much. Hence I asked him to go forward with the film”.
She also stressed on the fact that individuals from different profession can also make film out of passion too and Murari M Rakshit is the best example.
“Earlier when people lived in joint families, the kids would not feel lonely as some other family member used to give him company if his parents were busy. But that is not the case now as most people live in nuclear families. Hence this film will tell the story of modern society in a simple way,” said Saswata Chatterjee.
