Rituparna-Sanjay’s companionship and mutual trust is a lesson to any couple

Artistes’ handle a tough life as they are needed to do a wide range of characters and be involved in intimate scenes and may even have to kiss on screen as and when the story requires. It becomes a problem if you have a loving and caring partner. There will be insecurities, it’s a common thing. The partner may get upset after what he or she witnesses on screen.And why not, it’s his/her partner after all. So, there has to be a lot of understanding and mutual trust between them to keep the marriage going.
Rituparna Sengupta who was seen in some intimate scenes with Kaushik Sen is Agnidev Chatterjee’s ‘Goheen Hriday’ last year admits after so many years of marriage with Sanjay, she still fights an emotional battle.
“Whenever he sees me doing intimate scenes, he gets upset. For me, it is just acting and what matters is my performance, so that it looks natural on screen. So, it is a tough battle, but at the end of the day, we must also be true to our profession! I do talk it out with Sanjay every time he gets upset, but our companionship and mutual trust have helped us sail through,” reveals the seasoned actress who has a number of films like ‘Parcel’, Chhuti’, ‘Bidrohini’ in the pipeline.
