Rituparna, Raima in Prabhat's next

After quite some time, film-maker Prabhat Roy is working on three projects at a time
Rituparna, Raima in Prabhat's next
He is over and out with Hangover. Now, Prabhat Roy is all ready for action with his next. Titled Bhorer Alo, this venture boasts of a starcast of Rituparna Sengupta, Raima, Priyanshu Chatterjee and Tota RoyChoudhury.
Ill start canning the shots either before the Pujas or after it, says the director, adding that the story for Bhorer Alo is his, while the script has been penned by Subrata Chowdhury, who had earlier done the same for Ballygunge Court.
1x1 polls
I was a bit tied up with Ektu Onnorokom and hence, was hardpressed for time to write the script for BA, reasons Roy. It is still undecided as to who will score the music for the same.
The venture tells the story of two sisters essayed by Rituparna and Raima. As luck would have it, something major happens in Raimas life for which Rituparna blames herself. In fact, the USP of this film will be the very fact that it is a story of two sisters and the kind of bonding they share, adds the film-maker. Ask him why he zeroed in on this star cast and he reasons. Each one of them suits the character they essay and hence, I opted for them.
As for his other project, Ektu Onnorokom, Rudranil Ghosh is the brains behind the story while Padmanabha Dasgupta has done the script. This one is a comedy about three unemployed guys. They stay in a guest house opposite which is a girls hostel. What happens next is what the film is all about, explains the director. The cast for this film has Jisshu Sengupta, Arpita, Rudranil, Saswata Chatterjee, Kharaj Mukherjee, June and Paran Bandopadhyay. We are yet to decide whether to have Laboni Sarkar or Tanima Sen on board, says the director.
He also adds that he has been approached by the same production house that had produced Hangover, for yet another venture. Interestingly, this is after quite some time that Roy will be working on three films at a stretch. Protikar, my careers second film, with a cast of Debasree Roy, Victor Banerjee and Chiranjit, had scored a golden jubilee. After that, I had signed six films at a go. There after, I was usually working on two films in a year. After a pretty long time and that too after Hangover, I am working on three films, signs off Roy.
