Rituparna-Anurag Kashyap film got pushed back!
Hari Viswanath’s second feature film,
Said the film’s creative producer, Satarupa Sanyal, “We were supposed to begin the shoot in February. But due to some unavoidable reasons, the shoot got pushed back. The film will go on the floors end-April.” Hari, who hails from Chennai, ventured into films with Radiopetti (Radio Set) in 2015. It became the first Tamil film to win the Audience Award Best Film in the official competition in Busan International Film Festival 2015. His short, Monitor, was also part of the last edition of IFFI, Goa. The film is about a mother and the way she raises her child alone. No one gets to know about her husband at the beginning. The child goes to a neighbourhood house to play with his friend, who is the son of a musician. One day, tired of his parents’ rebukes, he picks up the violin and plays it to a surprised audience. When everyone lauds him and says it’s in the blood, the child comes home and asks what’s in his blood. The mother gives him a bansuri and he learns it thinking his father could play it well.
