Ritu, Prosenjit better off when unconnected?

There was no possibility of exchanging glances — good, bad, ugly — as Rituparna Sengupta and Prosenjit Chatterjee shot for a television venture, Shubho Drishti. The actors shot their parts — which was mostly about introducing the lead characters — separately and on different dates. I hear the two are better off when unconnected. For Praktan, the two had makeup rooms on separate floors and would only see each other ahead of each shot.Even then, Ritu the proverbial johnny-come-lately, would make Prosenjit wait and came armed with an innovative excuse every time. As they start to shoot Kaushik Ganguly’s Drishtikon soon, all eyes will be on the two, who make as much shabdo with their off-screen rivalry as their on-screen chemistry. With the cinemawala caught in between, it will be one helluva film within a film.
