Ritabhari in mom's next film

Director Satarupa Sanyal is all set to begin work on her next film, Apala. The film, which spans the period between 1952 and 1990, will star daughter Ritabhari Chakraborty as the younger Apala, while Roopa Ganguly will play the older one. The music recording of the film began today.
'We are beginning work on the film with a kirtan by Seema Acharya Chowdhury. Kirtan plays a major role in the film, which deals with Radha-Krishna or noronari's prem.Music will be by Anindya Banerjee,' said Satarupa. Shooting will start mid-December and it should be ready for release by next Puja.
