The trailer of the web series "Nandini" was unveiled during pre-Durga Pujo celebrations. Based on the novel by Sayantani Putatundu, the series promises to deliver a heartwarming story with mind-bending twists and drama. The trailer introduces Snigdha, who faces a heartbreaking situation when she is told her unborn child will not survive. However, she receives a mysterious phone call from a child claiming to be alive. The cast and director expressed excitement about the project, stating that it will cater to the audience's taste for thrillers with a unique storyline.
The trailer of Nandini was revealed amidst pre-Durga Pujo celebrations at a city lounge. Based on Sayantani Putatundu’s novel of the same name ‘Nandini’ directed by Falak Mir. The cast and crew of the series Ritabhari Chakraborty, Kinjal Nanda, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Debjani Chatterjee, Sandip Bhattacharya and Falak Mir were present in exaltation to welcome Nandini.The trailer promises to deliver a heartwarming story. The gripping narrative will have mind-bending twists, drama and emotion which will leave the audience enthralled.The trailer gives us a foray into the world of Snigdha who gets pregnant. Happiness blooms in the air and in every corner of the mansion as the descendant of the family is about to arrive. But Snigdha’s world turns upside down when her doctor finds out that the child in her womb is going to die very soon and as a result she needs to abort the child. Soon after at midnight, when everyone is asleep, Snighda’s telephone rings and a child’s voice tells her “Mother! I am not dead, I am still alive!” What happens next forms the crux of the story.Ritabhari who is going to make her web debut with Nandini said, “ Nandini is every woman’s story. The film is full of entertainment and thrills. Being a mother is a very tough job but playing one is not easy either. I am pretty sure that every mother can relate to Nandini as the struggle they go through is somewhere similar for their child and themselves.”
“I loved Nandini’s script. My character has two different shades. I absolutely loved working with Falak da and everyone in the team. Nandini has been made keeping in mind the audience’s taste.” said Kinjal.Talking positively about his role, Suhotra said, “I play the character of a writer. Personally I love listening and narrating stories. I used to fantasize the fact that someday I would play a character where I’m the narrator. Finally I got to be one in Nandini.”“Bengalis are all time thriller lovers. This is a little different story. Every episode will make the viewer think differently about who is behind the mystery,” said the director.
