Rima Das’s ‘Malti My Love’ makes it to Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Project Market

It’s indeed a proud moment for Assam as self-taught filmmaker Rima Das’s next ‘Malati, My Love’ will be projected at the Asian Project Market of Busan International Film Festival along with 29 other films. Films by renowned Asian directors such as Japan's Koji Fukada, and Indonesia's Makbul Mubarak are also on the elite list for this year's Asian Project Market at the Busan International Film Festival. In addition to Berlin (Bulbul Can Sing) and Toronto’s (Village Rockstars, Tora's Husband) film circuit, Rima Das is a known face in Busan as well.

Acclaimed Indian filmmaker Rima Das, known for her middle-of-the-road films like ‘Village Rockstars’, ‘Bulbul Can Sing’, and ‘Tora's Husband’, is taking a prominent role at the 27th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) as part of the Asian Project Market (APM). Running from October 7th to 10th, APM will feature an impressive lineup of 30 selected titles, including projects from renowned filmmakers like Makbul Mubarak of Indonesia, Japanese director Koji Fukada, and rising filmmaker Emma Kawawada.

Rima Das will present her latest work, ‘Malti My Love’ at the APM.
