Riddhi Sen cast in Anurag Kashyap's next

Anurag Kashyap's new project, which has not yet been given a title, stars National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen. The Kennedy director posted the cast list on social media on Tuesday.

Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Saba Azad, Joju George, Sapna Pabbi, Jeetendra Joshi, Ankush Gedambe, Nagesh Bhonsle, Jamini Pathak, and Ghamshyam Garg will be starring alongside Riddhi in Anurag's next production. In 2012, Riddhi debuted on the big screen in Kahaani, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. However, Anindya Chattopadhyay's Open Tee Bioscope in 2015 gave him his big break as the lead.

For Kaushik Ganguly's Nagarkirtan, Riddhi won the 2018 National Award for Best Actor, making history as the youngest recipient of the honour. His only Hindi film after Kahaani, Helicopter Eela (2018), stars him alongside Kajol.

Kennedy was Anurag Kashyap's last project received a seven-minute standing ovation at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it was screened under the Midnight Screening section. The film starred Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat, and was presented at the Kolkata International Film Festival in 2023 as well as the Jio MAMI Film Festival in 2023.
