Reflecting on the significance of this moment, Sheikh shared, “It’s the 30th year of KIFF, and I am very excited because, apart from watching the works of other filmmakers, this year is special for me personally. My short film, Kalikotha Kolikata, was screened for the first time as a director and an actor, and the audience’s response was overwhelming.”

He also expressed his enthusiasm about the screening of Golfather, a film featured at this year’s festival, along with works from internationally renowned directors. “This year is also special as Golfather is being screened, and we have films from internationally famous directors. It’s a privilege to be part of such an important cinematic celebration,” he added. The 30th edition of KIFF has been a major milestone for the city’s film lovers, offering a platform for both celebrated and emerging filmmakers. For Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh, this year’s festival is a memorable chapter in his career, both as a creator and as an actor.
