Not so long back, Big B had praised Belaseshe, the film which marked Swatilekha's comeback on the big screen after a gap of 30 years.���There are moments in the film that take your presence and turn it twist it, drench it with fact and rumble it through a drying machine to leave you dry , clean and washed with temperament... I went through it today ... a Bengali film 'Bela sheshe' which is creating some record runs in Kolkata and Bengal... such a sensitive portrayal, such depth of emotion, a spoken truth that many wish by, a simplicity that grips you and refuses to leave (sic),��� he had written. So elated was Swatilekha that she sent a note of thanks to the actor. And it took her by surprise when Big B sent her a letter. ���Long back, Mr Bachchan had watched Nandikar's play, Natyokarer Sandhane Chhoti Choritro, adapted from Luigi Pirandello's Six Characters in Search of an Actor. He liked what he saw and even mentioned Nandikar in an interview. On Saturday , even before I heard about it, the letter that came to Nandikar's office was opened by the young members who started celebrating,��� said Swatilekha.

Later in the day, the actress's daughter Sohini Sengupta, a noted theatre actor-director herself, called up to inform her about the letter, excerpts of which reads: ���No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of the healthiest of all human emotions -the encouragement of others. From one artiste to another -thank you are we not blessed!" ���I've grown up on Mr Bachchan's films; I'm a huge fan of his. When I could finally lay my hands on the letter, I was numbed for some time. I really don't know how to reply as I'm not much into social networking. But I'll continue to cherish this letter as long as I can. A letter from him is bigger than any big award,��� she said.
