Ranjan Ghosh’s next is a unique love story!

Filmmaker Ranjan Ghosh is cooking up a storm, literally so! His new film, Ahaa Re, revolves around two chefs from across the border. “It is a fairy tale crossover love story that blossoms between a rich Muslim chef from Dhaka (Arifin Shuvoo) and a middle-class Hindu cook from Kolkata (Rituparna Sengupta). The film sees Rituparna specialising in traditional Bengali cuisine, while Arifin is a master of Bangladeshi dishes.The duo meet and discover love through their shared passion for food and cooking. This food film is as much about love as it is about life’s struggles. It also explores why and how our religious identities should take a backseat when there are so many inspiring stories around us,” said Ranjan.
