Ranjan Ghosh is happy with the reviews he is getting for his film,

Ahaa Re

, starring

Rituparna

Sengupta,

Arifin

Shuvoo and others. He received positive reaction from the general audience. “Yesterday, at the premiere, the most unlikely person to congratulate us was German Deputy Consul General Jürgen Thomas Schrod. He loved the execution and the performances. He found the hero very smart and one who can act really well. He loved Rituparna Sengupta and Paran Bandopadhyay and had words of praise for Amrita Chattopadhyay and debutant Shubhro Sankha Das. There were quite a few young couples who came up to congratulate me. They said they loved the simplicity and honesty of the film and also the way the story shifted from food and cooking to the internal loneliness that connect the two protagonists. They were happy to see that the film was a simple love story to be felt with the heart. No false pretensions, they said. A veteran thespian called me up at night to congratulate me. He found the film poignant and deep and felt that such maturity is rarely displayed by young people like us. He specially mentioned the dialogues of the film and all the performances. He said Rituparna reminded him of her in Paromitar Ek Din and Dahan days. On Facebook, I am getting messages praising the film’s music. The feedback is that all the three songs by Savvy are well used. Some are talking about the gentle flow of the story and the performances and cinematography by Hari Nair too,” said Ranjan.
