Raj’s personal profile, his public page, and the page of Raj Chakraborty Entertainment were hacked a few days back and the names of the same were changed. Raj revealed that his team reached out to the Meta authorities to enquire and resolve the matter. Not just that, the filmmaker’s team lodged a complaint at the cybercrime department of the Kolkata Police.

Earlier Raj informed us that the hackers had gotten hold of all three of his Facebook profiles. The three profiles included his personal profile, his page, and his production company’s page. Raj mentioned that he didn’t understand the ins and outs of social media much and that he had a dedicated team who managed his social media profiles. As per the filmmaker, his team received the notification that the names of the pages had been changed. After that, reality sank in.

Raj had revealed that for the last few days, there was a problem with his profile on Facebook. But the filmmaker did not realize that his profiles were targeted by hackers. Raj has already lodged a complaint with the cybercrime branch of the Kolkata Police. In addition, Facebook authorities have also been informed about the matter. According to Raj, he and his team had done everything possible on their part.
Raj had a release on this year’s Independence Day, ‘Babli’. Although the Abir Chatterjee and Subhashree Ganguly starrer film had a promising arc, the film could not do that well at the box office due to the RG Kar rape-murder incident. His next film, 'Santan,’ which was slated to release during Durga Puja, has been pushed to Diwali, 2024.
