Being an autistic child, Mahabrata drops out of school and starts living with his uncle, who would often rebuke him for every little thing he does. The orphan child has no other choice but to take resort in his fantasy world as he starts to believe there is a treasure hidden somewhere in his home. One day, an angel visits his home and asks the child to feed his uncle a ‘rainbow jelly’. What happens forms the plot of Ghosal's ‘Rainbow Jelly’.It’s a food fantasy film that revolves around a lonely kid. A thrilling treasure hunt makes this film even more interesting. The indigenous production, which is scheduled for a release on May 25, even features a real-life autistic child in the central role to make the story more authentic.The film features Mahabrata Basu (the kid), Kaushik Sen (Mahabrata’s uncle), Sreelekha Mitra (angel), Anumegha Banerjee and Shantilal Mukherjee.The recently released trailer of ‘Rainbow Jelly’ has already received a good response.
