The director has chosen a script that deals with the relocation from a joint to a nuclear family.Joy, who plays a principle character in the film, essays Atolanta Mukherjee. Atolanta comes from a middle-class family in North Kolkata and the film takes off after his death. Raima, on the other hand, is Suchismita Mukherjee, a professor and wife of Atolanta. She boasts of an upper middle-class South Kolkata background. ���������������������������Suchismita is a catalyst in Atolanta���������������������������s life.
