Giving a sneak peek into her character in ‘Reunion’, Raima said, “I am Monideepa in this film, a nice sophisticated, independent lady. My character has an exact idea about what she wants in life. She prefers to go by her own opinions and agenda. Parambrata and I was once batchmate in college. We meet again after a gap of 20 long years. Not just we, but all of us, a group of former college students. The story revolves around friendship, politics, love, and romance. I won’t reveal much for now.”

Set with a 90s Bengal backdrop, ‘Reunion’ deals with politics and its effects on the students. But that’s not all! Nostalgia has a key role to play in the narrative. The story sees a group of University students from the 1995 batch and their reunion after almost 20 years. As the group finally meets, they find out one of their senior (Parambrata) is now in a village near Darjeeling as he decides to dedicate his life to the villagers in the hilly area.
