OTT has transformed people’s perception about love and relationship, feels Raima Sen since the contents regularly explore love and illustrate how messy, wonderful, and complex it can be.

The actor says the audience now has access to shows from all over the world and has developed strong attachments to their favourite characters. They have altered how people perceive love and relationships, from the romanticism present in the majority of K-Dramas to the coming-of-age series we are creating as well.

Raima points out that OTT contents now highlight the importance of listening and understanding another person's point of view. They have helped many understand others better. When we watch certain shows for a long time, they have a greater impact on us than films and general TV shows with ads.

Also, the young generation has been exposed to different types of relationships that these series have shown, which has opened their eyes to the beauty of all forms of love, whether it be with oneself, family, friends, or partners. Raima feels OTT shows have opened our eyes to the importance of self-love and expression. We can find characters who are similar to us in these series and can learn from their experiences.
In the digital age, the idea of love is constantly evolving. OTT shows give viewers more than simply entertainment; they give them a glimpse into the complexities of relationships. On streaming platforms, we can explore a variety of romantic relationships in all of their complexities and that can help us understand what we truly want from our relationships, and how to improve them, adds Raima.

The versatile actor who has made a name for herself in the OTT world was recently seen in a psychological thriller ‘Roktokorobi’ and her performance has once again been lapped up by all. Raima has always insisted that she never believes in method acting, instead, she’s more focused on creating characters.
