Raima and Anjan Dutt to come together yet again

Sen, who are set to work together again in Finally Bhalobasa, 12 years after they worked in The Bong Connection. The film that will go on the floors in April, stars the director himself, Anirban Bhattacharya, Arindam Sil, Sauraseni Maitra, Suprobhat Das, Arjun Chakrabarty and others.

Speaking of her character, Raima said, “I am happy to work with Anjanda after a long time. He always casts me in unique and out-of-the-box characters. My character in Finally Bhalobasa is complex but distinctive. Anjanda has a great sense of humour and working with him is relaxing to say the least. But at the same time, he knows how to extract the best from his actors. I found the storyline of the film quite interesting. It is a dark love story, which culminates in a happy ending.”

Dutt feels Raima is a perfect cast for her character. He shared, “Three stories run parallel in the film and the plots meet in the end. Raima is part of a story titled Insomnia, which revolves around Arjun trying to save her from a kidnapper played by Arindam. I was looking for an actress who has a beautiful face, can act and at the same time, will look like a mysterious, sensuous and seductive woman on screen. Raima has matured as an actress and can play the character to the hilt,” On working with new talents, Dutt said, “I am happy to work with new actors like

and Suprobhat. They bring freshness to the film.”
