Rahul in scripting stage

Rahul is in love. Before you get those grey cells working overtime, hear us out. The actor is in love with the script he is penning for his directorial debut.
Says Rahul, ���������When not shooting or dubbing, you���������ll find me with a pen and paper. Priyanka keeps pulling my leg saying, the script is my new love. For the record, writing has always been my first love.��������� He adds, ���������A few days back Priyanka was out for a shoot and I got busy with the script.When I checked my watch, it was 6 am.���������
So, when will he be donning the director���������s hat? ���������Soon, if all goes well,��������� assures Rahul. Prod him further about the script but he turns out to be a tough nut to crack,
���������Let me complete the script first. All I can share is that it is a story about a recent incident in Kolkata. I have to complete it soon as this will be the subject of my first film in terms of
direction. Before this, I was penning a script on student life. I���������ll complete it after I start directing my debut film.���������
Will Priyanka be an obvious choice in his project? The hubby proves once again that when it comes to work, there can���������t be any compromises, ���������I might, if she suits the role.���������
But won���������t it be difficult being an actor and director at the same time? ���������A director and an actor both communicate. So, I don���������t think it is difficult. If there is any suitable role for me, I might act in my own project. I���������m a greedy actor, who is extremely confident about his job. If I feel that I am the best option for the role, I will go ahead and do it,��������� Rahul says.
The actor is busy dubbing for ���������Ami vs Tumi��������� and ���������Get-together���������. ���������I will be going to Bolpur today for some patchwork for ���������Uro Choti Super���������. Talks are on with Bappaditya Bandopadhay for his next film, now titled ���������Elar Char Adhyay���������. I���������ll start shooting for Mainak���������s ���������Bedroom��������� once Rudra recovers. From August, I start shooting for Debarati���������s ���������Hoi Choi���������,��������� says Rahul.
Work apart, the actor along with Priyanka, is taking a break and going to Dubai along with Chandrabindoo where they will be performing. ���������I told Anindyada of Chandrabindoo that they���������ll never find a fan like me. I will prove it by travelling to Dubai with them. The band will fete me with the Biggest Fan of Chandrabindoo award there,��������� admits Rahul.
