Rahul Banerjee choses a low-key birthday celebration with Priyanka, Shohoj & family

Rahul Banerjee who portrays the pivotal role of Ajit in the upcoming Byomkesh web series 'Durgo Rawhoshyo', was expected to grace the official poster launch party. However, he was notably absent. On the very day of this important press conference, Rahul chose to spend time with his loved ones. As it turned out, it was his birthday.
Instead of making a public appearance or even engaging with his followers on social media, Rahul kept his birthday celebrations intimate and private.Many were left puzzled about his no-show at the ‘Durgo Rawhoshyo’ event, but by nightfall, the reason became clear. Rahul was immersed in the joyous occasion of his birthday, surrounded by his family. His wife, Priyanka Sarkar, and their son, Sahaj, were by his side, as were other close family members. A snapshot from this private gathering later surfaced online and quickly went viral, featuring not only Priyanka and Sahaj but also Rahul's mother and other relatives.
Despite his choice to keep the day low-profile, Rahul was inundated with birthday wishes on social media. Several of these came from his friends and fellow actors, each extending their warm regards.

Rahul and Priyanka's love story dates back to their teenage years. Their chemistry on-screen in their debut film, 'Chirodini Tumi Je Amar', soon spilled over into real life. They tied the knot in 2010 but faced turbulence in their marriage, leading to a split in 2017. Recently, however, there's been a noticeable effort from both to mend their relationship, primarily for the sake of their son, Sahaj.

In terms of work, Rahul is currently engrossed in a TV serial, 'Horogouri Pice Hotel'. On the other hand, Priyanka is gearing up for her role in Indranil Roychowdhury’s ‘Chhotolok’. There are also reports suggesting that the duo is contemplating purchasing an apartment in Priyanka's residential complex, hinting at a fresh start for their family.
