‘Rahashyo Romancho Series’: Makers wrap up shoot of Rudranil Ghosh starrer

After the success of critically acclaimed ‘K: Secret Eye’, Abhirup Ghosh is all set for his next ‘Rahashyo Romancho Series’. The thriller has an ensemble cast including Priyanka Sarkar, Biswanath Basu, Kanchan Mullick, Rudranil Ghosh, Sayani Ghosh and Poulomi Das. The film has been shot largely in Kolkata and after a packed schedule, the shooting has been wrapped up. It’s now in post-production stage. ‘Rohosyo Romancho Series’ revolves around three different plots from three different genres - crime, suspense and the supernatural.

The first story sees Bishwanath, best known for his comic characters, as a serious police officer who visits a restaurant in search of a criminal on the run while Priyanka Sarkar will be seen as the restaurant employee.

The second story follows Arjun (Souman Bose) who takes a drastic step to help a group of car thieves led by Jhantu (Rudranil Ghosh) run away. What he initially thought a one-time experiment turns out to be a series of heists.

Finally, the third story tells the story of a successful gambler Saikat (Kanchan Mullick). However, one stormy night changes everything forever. Saikat visits an underground gambling den where the stakes are quite high. Actress Sayani Ghosh plays a key role in this story.
