Paying tribute to the great master Satyajit Ray, Raajhorshee De is coming up with his dream project, a family drama that draws inspiration from the title of the Ray classic 'Kanchenjungha'.
Raajhorshee weaves a story of Darjeeling, Christmas and Kanchenjungha in 'his ‘Abar Kanchenjungha’ paying homage to Satyajit Ray. Ray’s ‘Kanchenjungha’, the 1962 Bengali classic, which had the enriched cinematography of his trusted hand Subrata Mitra, was all about a Bengali family vacationing in Darjeeling and had captured the beauty of the hills.
