Q's Ludo finds place in fest that premiered Inglourious Basterds!

A still from Ludo Q, who has directed Ludo with longtime associate Nikon, is off to a soaring start as the thriller will soon premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal.
The festival, which began in 1996 and is held every July , has a global following among genre film fans.Ludo is being included in the Camera Lucida, one of the main competitions of the festival and will be screened on the opening day on July 14.

���Ludo is our tribute to the extreme genre films that Nikon and I are fans of. We conceived the idea three years back and it's really crazy story ,��� Q had earlier told us. The film promises to pack a punch in both look and technique. ���Nikon and I have similar tastes and we decided to co-direct so that we could split the responsibilities of creating a unique design,��� Q had shared.

Fantasia has earlier featured popular films like Ringu, Inglourious Basterds, Shaun of the Dead, Dread and Uzumaki. ���I'm happy that Ludo is part of this prestigious genre festival and features in the competition section. Nikon and I are hoping to attend the festival," said Q. Actors Joyraj and Rii are part of this Bengali film.
