Pujarni has completed shooting for
Soumyajit Majumdar’s Homecoming. The film revolves around a theatre group, formed by a generation of artistically inclined high school-college outlaws, who eventually pioneered the “failed” Calcutta youth-theatre movement. They reunite for the first time after seven years on an eventful Durga Puja night at their old rehearsal space.
“What happens next is what this film is all about,” said Pujarni.
“I will be going to north Bengal soon to finish the shoot of Arijit Chatterjee’s Bandhu, where I am paired opposite
Saurav Das. The film is about music bands. That apart, I am also part of debutant director Samitabha’s yet-untitled film, where
Rupanjana Maitra plays a pivotal role. The film revolves around a writer’s life,” informed the actress.
