Her porichoi? Daughter of veteran director Basu Chatterjee. As Rupali Chatterjee makes her directorial debut in Tollywood with Porichoi starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Misthi, Nipun, Ferdous and Joey, there���s an obvious excitement around the film.

The film explores the relationship between a father (Prosenjit) and daughter (Misthi). Going to a foreign country as a tourist is different from staying there and this film shows how the daughter, who visits her father in London after years, makes him understand the value of his own country and relations,��� says Rupali.
On Thursday, the unit shot a song sequence ��� Continental khichuri ��� composed and sung by Rajesh Roy. After shooting for 26 days in London, the unit is wrapping up the remaining portions of the film in Kolkata. About working with Prosenjit, the director says, ���Anupam Dutta, the character Bumbada essays, is tailormade for him. Thank God, Bumbada liked the script and his dates matched, otherwise I would have had to shelve the idea of making this film. Mishti is the film���s surprise element.���
