I prefer doing something different. This is perhaps the first time a road movie is being made in Bengali cinema in recent times. So, there was a challenge. Another reason is the story of ‘Uronchondi’. This film has the characters which you wouldn’t find in Bengali movies often. Also, the reason why this script moved me is it speaks for the rise of three rural women. You won’t believe it took 6 months two complete the casting. Now as I see people are showering praise. I feel so relieved and proud.”
