Being one of the most celebrated actors in Tollywood, Prosenjit Chatterjee has always shown his admiration for budding directors. He believes these young filmmakers require a suitable platform to prove their talents and in order to do so, producers have to show more confidence in them. It seems Prosenjit has taken that initiative.
He is right now producing debutant director Abhishek Saha’s upcoming film ‘Uronchondi’.

The movie revolves around a Bengali lady who is in search of freedom. The cast of this Bengali drama includes veteran actor Chitra Sen along with popular actors like Sudipta Chakraborty, Rajnandini Pal and many more.
‘Uronchondi’ is believed to be a road movie and director Abhishek Saha says the unique concept came to his mind because he loves travelling all around the country and that helped him gain a lot of inspiration before making this movie.
The sequences of the road trip will reportedly be shot at Purulia-Kolkata route. The script has been penned by Sudip Das and the music has been composed by Debajyoti Mishra.
