He promptly responded that the film is entertaining as well as commercial but at the same time explores the idea of freedom attached to the word.
Prosenjit explained that if a film addresses a social issue that needs to be told to the masses, it is necessary for the film to have a vast reach and that reach a film will get only due to its entertainment factor. He further elaborated with an example where he explained that if the film is only going to the festivals, there is no need for entertainment there as the audience already knew about the issue and are not bothered about it.
The seasoned actor further added that if one wants the single-screen audience to see the film and talk about serious subjects in it, it is necessary to enlighten them about the fundamentals without being too preachy.

In ‘Shesh Pata’, Prosenjit plays a deserted writer Balmiki who was popular in the Bangla film circuit for his unconventional themes. But some drastic turn of events changed the course of his life and he now leads a life of sheer neglect and isolation.
Meanwhile, Prosenjit’s performance in his OTT debut ‘Jubilee’, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, has also been lapped up by one and all.
