Dhritiman Chatterjee playing the titular role of
Professor Shonku

Subhasish Mukhopadhyay
plays the role of Nokurbabu.
While speaking about the film the noted director said they will be off to Manaus in Brazil as per schedule on 16 February to wrap up the remaining outdoor shot. Almost 60 percent of the upcoming science-fiction film has been canned and the post-production work is already underway as it involves a large number of special effects.
IncidentalLy Sandip Ray and his team were in Manaus last November for an outdoor schedule but had to return after Dhritiman Chatterjee fell ill.
The veteran actor has now fully recovered and is ready to start shooting for the film. Sandip Ray hopes to release Professor Shonku O El Dorado around Christmas this year as planned before.
