Priyanka Rati Pal set to start shooting for Nojor

Priyanka Rati Pal, who is a model-turned-actor, will start shooting for Nojor from Tuesday. “I play a Kuashar Rani and it is a positive character. She is a snob, but at the same time, nice at heart. The look test has already been done and it looks great. The serial is going to take a turn with my track,” said Priyanka, who has acted in serials like Rani Rashmoni and Jai Baba Lokenath.
Nojor is about an evil entity who bewitches the Singha Roy family and the struggles the family experience under her . The story revolves around Maya, a 200-year-old life-force sucking vampire-like creature called daini who also knows witchcraft. Maya kills people to steal their life-force, which keeps her young and beautiful. She enchants and captivates Dev Singha Roy by her surreal beauty, after which they marry and have two children, Ayush and Ananya.
“I love the serial as it deals with so many supernatural elements. Now I am happy to be a part of it,” said Priyanka, who played the role of a police officer in Ek Chokra, a film made for television. “I got a lot of appreciation for my character and I hope to do more such challenging roles in the near future,” said Priyanka.
The model-turned-actress is also a part of Rajorshi De’s film, Riffle. “I play the role of a cricketer in the film,” said Priyanka. She added, “I am a cricket buff, so I enjoyed playing the character. Dada (Sourav Ganguly) is my all-time favourite player.”
