Pritha Chakraborty plans to meet Koneenica soon

Director Pritha Chakraborty is planning to visit Koneenica Banerjee, who recently became a mother and is currently enjoying her motherhood. Koneenica had played one of the leads in her debut film, Mukherjee Dar Bou.
“Koneenica was pregnant when we were shooting for Mukherjee Dar Bou. Ichepuron was her daughter’s name in the film and the whole cast and crew used to tell her in real life too she will have Ichepuron.Then she gave birth to a beautiful daughter. I spoke to her, but I am yet to meet her,” said the director who is planning her next. “I love to deal with relationships. My next will be a family drama where I will try to bring out certain sides of a relationship which are always there, but people prefer not to talk about them,” said the director.
Mukherjee Dar Bou was a film with a strong message for women. It was about the bittersweet journey of finding the identity of a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law, both of whom are identified as Mukherjeedar bou (Mukherjeeda's wife) by society. The film was based on a modern dysfunctional family revolving around the complex and intricate yet caring relationship of a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Koneenica had played a Bengali homemaker, whose name is not known till the end of the film. Mukherjeedar bou (Aditi) had been married for more than 10 years and has a daughter of six. Aditi’s married life was usual, but it took a turn when her father-in-law passed away. In the film, various shades of women and their individual crises have been shown and how they overcome the odds.
