Premendu Bikash Chaki set for his second directorial

Last year cinematographer Premendu Bikash Chaki’s comedy caper ‘Honeymoon’ had a decent outing at the box office. The comedy flick starring Soham Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, Ranjit Mallick and Rudranil Ghosh in the lead was Premendu’s directorial debut. Now, he is all geared up for his second offering.

Based on a novel by Balai Chand Mukhopadhyay aka Bon Phul, the film has been titled as ‘Aghoton’ and will be produced by Camellia Productions.This Bon Phul story was earlier adapted into a play as well. There hasn’t been any news about the cast but we hear Premendu is planning a surprise package for the audience.
