Prakash Jha to be back for post-puja shoot

Amidst all the hullabaloo, those who wish to work are working. I heard Prakash Jha has already completed the pilot shoot of Sanyasi Raja in Kolkata and submitted his project to the national channel in question. He has also locked the cast and as expected, there are many Bengali talents in the venture. While Gaurav Chakrabarty has been selected to play the title role, his scheming wife will be played by TV darling Tridha Choudhury .Sanyasi Raja is based on a family scandal that made news in the early 20th century and has been explored by several filmmakers before. But Jha's takes are always special and I can't stop admiring his understanding of the country's social fabric. If all goes well, he will be back in Kolkata and start shooting post Puja.
