Pradeep's a perfectionist

Be it a 30-second ad film or a three-hour feature film, the mood and the moment are of utmost importance, feels Pradeep Sarkar.
While shooting for an ad film at Burdwan Rajbari in Kolkata, the actors from his team spoke about things that make the director different from the rest. 'For every shot, we have rehearsals and a shot is okayed only after 15 takes. Pradeepda is a perfectionist.
Working with him is an experience in itself,' said Rituparna, who was sweating it out at the do. The actor was right as soon after, we spotted Pradeep labouring hard to teach a kid how to move in front of the camera and what expressions to give. Next, it was actor Tilottama's turn to learn about her position. Sources from the production team also informed that the director has looked into the minute details of costume and furniture.
'The scene requires an office cubicle and a kitchen. Pradeep has made his preferences known,' the source informed. Eminent stylist, Ojas Rajani, who does make-up for Aiswarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and other Bollywood actors was flown down from Mumbai to touch up Rituparna. While asked, Ojas said, 'I love coming to the city to do the make-up for Kolkata actors. Food too is a huge draw.'
