The craze and hype surrounding ‘
Pushpa
’ proved that
Allu Arjun is a pan-Indian star. Just like many of Allu Arjun’s fans, Bengali actor
Soham Chakraborty, too, admires the South star and he feels films like ‘Pushpa’ create milestone at the box office due to their originality and passion for cinema.
“The craze surrounding Pushpa proved commercial films will never go out of business, especially when people are coming back to theatres to see entertaining films. Nothing can beat the magic of big screens,” said Soham.
Soham
also adds that he has seen previous works of Allu
Arjun and admits he’s a mass entertainer, “I have heard the stories about the hard work behind this film. Just imagine how hard he Arjun worked to prep up for his character. Since the film’s backdrop is forest terrain, you can understand how challenging the conditions were for the shoot. It took them almost two years to complete the film, that too, shooting in places with no roads.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Soham will next be seen in a child fantasy drama ‘Kolkatar Harry’. He is pairing up opposite
Priyanka Sarkar in the film, directed by
Rajdeep Ghosh. It’s a story about a pool car driver (Soham), who works for the primary section of a convent school. This driver, Harinath Patra has an instinctive quality of story-telling. Harinath being a fan of the fairytales and specially the
Harry Potter
series has a hobby of showing magic on the streets of Kolkata.
