‘Piya Re’ soundtrack ‘Tor Neshate’, composed by Jeet Gannguli, hit the high notes as soon as it was launched online. Armaan Malik’s soulful voice played on everyone’s heartstrings. Starring Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Sen, the new music video has climbed up the charts pretty quickly and now it has reached a social media milestone crossing 5 lakh views on Youtube.

Directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, ‘Piya Re’ is a romantic drama that weaves around the touching story of Rabi (Soham Chakraborty) and his love interest Ria (Srabanti Chatterjee).As per the narrative, Rabi is entirely immersed in his imaginary world as he falls for Ria, a young lady from a nearby slum area but he is laughed at by people for his situation. Ria right from the beginning understands Rabi’s feelings and reciprocates as well. Rabi and Riya get separated following some unfortunate incidents. Whether Rabi ultimately saves Riya from destroying her life and reunites with her forms the crux of the film.
