The vast, mysterious world around us often places us face-to-face with profound questions about our own existence. The word ‘peace’ and the world's relentless pursuit of it has been a subject of intrigue for many. But is achieving true peace really possible? Amrita Giri, a PhD candidate in psychology, embarks on a journey exploring this very theme. His research revolves around the various forms of peace, its origins, and the experiences in life where a sliver of peace seems to stand at the other end.

However, as Amrita delves deeper, he finds himself increasingly perplexed. In his obsessive quest for peace, he stumbles into the realms of unrest. The market sells peace, but with conditions attached, leading to growing disturbances. Almost lost in this tumultuous path, Amrita discovers a peculiar organization named ‘Peace Rate and Company’.

Will they guide Amrita to the true path of tranquility? This forms the crux of the movie ‘Peace Rate’. The film's background score has been composed by Amit Chatterjee and his team, with cinematography by MX Paraj and editing by Abhishek Mondal. The slice-of-life drama is already out on the director’s YouTube channel.
